Air-Operated Double Diaphragm Pump

Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) pumps use compressed air as the driving force to alternately actuate dual diaphragms, enabling fluid transfer. Their simple yet robust construction eliminates complex electrical components and prevents ignition risks, making them intrinsically safe for use in explosive environments. With excellent self-priming capability and dry-run tolerance, AODD pumps are highly durable, low-maintenance, and ideal for demanding applications such as chemical processing, mining, and other harsh industrial conditions.

Traditional AODD Pumps vs. ChemSafe Series

Unlike conventional metal-wetted AODD pumps prone to corrosion, the ChemSafe Series features a 100% PTFE or UHMWPE fluid path with no exposed metal—offering superior chemical resistance and sealing for corrosive and high-purity applications.
Its removable air motor allows easy maintenance without disassembling the pump. Precision-machined construction ensures better sealing and durability than molded designs.

Fully Chemical-Resistant for Safer, Cleaner, and Longer Service Life

ChemSafe uses PTFE or UHMWPE wetted parts—PTFE resists nearly all chemicals, while UHMWPE is highly wear-resistant and chemically stable. The non-metallic, corrosion-proof exterior prevents rust and leakage, reducing maintenance and extending service life.
Ideal for handling acids, fuels, adhesives, paints, resins, inks, wastewater, and other corrosive or abrasive fluids.

Removable Air Motor Design Enables Quick Access and Repair

ChemSafe features a removable air motor that allows quick, intuitive maintenance without disassembling the entire pump. Parts can be replaced or serviced easily, improving uptime and operational efficiency.
Precision-machined construction ensures tighter sealing and better chemical isolation than molded housings, minimizing leaks and cross-contamination for long-term stable performance.

Runs Safely Under Dead-Head Operation – No Damage Risk

ChemSafe diaphragm pumps support dead-head operation—allowing the pump to run safely even when the discharge valve is closed or flow is paused, without damaging the unit.
This eliminates the need for bypass lines or protection devices, enhancing system flexibility and reliability. Ideal for batch transfer, automated control, and intermittent feeding processes.
