Electric Diaphragm Pumps

Electric Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps (EODD) use an electric motor to drive flexible diaphragms, providing smooth fluid transfer with low noise and energy efficiency, making them ideal for long-duration continuous operation in automated smart production lines. Graco's Quantm auto shutoff under back pressure, eliminating air compressor needs and reducing energy and noise.

Difference Between Air-Operated and Electric Pumps

Diaphragm pumps come in two main types: Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) and Electric Operated Double Diaphragm (EODD).
AODD pumps use compressed air to drive diaphragms back and forth, resulting in high energy consumption and loud exhaust noise.
EODD pumps, in contrast, use an electric motor for precise speed control, continuous flow, and quiet, energy-efficient operation, with VFD and I/O support for smart production integration.

Real-Time Leak Protection System

The QUANTM electric double diaphragm pump is equipped with a leak detector installed inside the pump’s control housing. It is connected to the pump’s diaphragm chamber via a dedicated line. When a diaphragm rupture causes leakage, fluid enters the sensor area of the detector, immediately triggering the yellow LED warning light on the pump and automatically stopping pump operation to prevent further leakage or equipment damage.
