Principle and Technology

The FU-ES ultrasonic flow meter with EchoSense technology calculates flow rate using the formula: Flow Rate = Pipe Area × Flow Velocity. It measures the time difference between faster downstream (A to B) and slower upstream (B to A) signals to determine flow velocity and, consequently, the flow rate.

In real-world applications, actual measurement results may differ from laboratory data due to variations in fluid properties, pipe conditions, installation location, and environmental factors.
** IP66 stands for Ingress Protection 66. The IP rating is a classification system for the degree of protection provided by enclosures of electrical equipment against the intrusion of foreign objects. The IP rating format is IPXX, where XX represents two Arabic numerals. The first digit indicates the level of protection against contact and foreign objects (used to denote dust protection), and the second digit indicates the level of waterproof protection. The higher the number, the better the protection. The first "6" in IP66 means: completely prevents dust ingress; the second "6" means: no harm from high-pressure water jets.
