Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flow Meter
The clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter uses sensors attached to the pipe, requiring no cutting or flow interruption. It is ideal for situations where downtime is not an option and contamination-free measurement is needed. It prevents leakage and pressure issues while ensuring consistent accuracy across different flow conditions.
Principle and Technology
The FU-ES ultrasonic flow meter with EchoSense technology calculates flow rate using the formula: Flow Rate = Pipe Area × Flow Velocity. It measures the time difference between faster downstream (A to B) and slower upstream (B to A) signals to determine flow velocity and, consequently, the flow rate.

Split Design for Remote Monitoring
The FU-TX series ultrasonic flow meter features a split design, with the sensor clamped to the pipe and the display unit is placed in a convenient location for monitoring and operation. Ideal for large elevated pipelines and remote monitoring, such as chilled water systems and long-distance oil and gas pipelines.

Patented Metal Clamp
LORRIC's patented FU-TX metal clamp offers a distinct advantage over traditional flow meter brackets. Its unique design allows for precise alignment of the probes, enabling easy installation even in tight spaces, with flexible positioning options. The clamp is suitable for both same-side and opposite-side installations and is designed to resist loosening due to gravity.
Applicable to variety of fluids, pipe materials and diameters
FU-TX ultrasonic flowmeter is versatile, working with water, oil, and chemicals. It's compatible with stainless steel, PVC, and even PP, PVDF piping materials. With applications ranging from 2-inch to 16-inch pipes.

Detect problems instantly and intelligently with automatic environment sensing
Our ultrasonic flowmeter is engineered for smarter, more reliable performance with a dedicated third transducer designed for environmental sensing, allowing it to adapt seamlessly to changing flow conditions. This advanced feature continuously monitors critical factors like fluid sound velocity, incomplete pipe fills, and impurities, ensuring precise measurements while preventing disruptions. By detecting these variables in real time, it helps minimize downtime and keeps your operations running smoothly.
Guided Setup for Efficient Operation
The FU-TX320 features a built-in pipe material and specification database. Simply follow the prompts to select pipe material, size, and thickness—no manual entry of complex parameters needed. Streamlined setup helps users quickly complete installation and startup, reducing errors and saving time.
Track Energy Usage to Achieve ESG Goals
The LORRIC FU-TX 310 ultrasonic flow meter features data collection capabilities and can be installed without disrupting equipment operations, helping to prevent business losses. By accurately tracking energy consumption and reducing maintenance costs, it supports effective energy monitoring and reporting, aligning with ESG goals.

|
* For pipes ≤ 4 inch, the V-method is generally recommended. The Z-method should only be used in environments with particularly poor signal conditions, otherwise it may produce less accurate results.
** The measurement accuracy is established in a controlled laboratory environment where the pipe and fluid conditions are set and the instrument is calibrated to zero before conducting tests at 25°C. Although statistical results are obtained under these conditions, there may be variances in accuracy when used in customer environments.
*** Custom 110VAC 60Hz to 24VDC transformer is provided as a customer-service item only and is outside the scope of warranty and product certification.
**** Pt100 temperature/BTU function is custom-configured at the factory and cannot be retrofitted; if a calibration report is required, please notify in advance (additional fee applies).
