High Purity and Reliability

High Purity and Reliability

KOSCN PFA products use electronic-grade raw materials and are manufactured in controlled cleanroom environments—Class 1,000 for extrusion, Class 10,000 for injection molding, and Class 100 for final packaging.
Each batch is tested with Agilent ICP-MS and RION Particle Analyzer to ensure low metal ion and particle release, fully meeting SEMI F57 standards for semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and ultra-pure process applications.

Convenience and Safety in Design

Engineered to improve on-site efficiency and ensure system safety, the Spigot Butt+IR welding type features an extended end for secure clamping and facing, significantly simplifying the installation process. The Insert Bushing type is supplied with a dedicated tool for quick and accurate assembly.
Each insert fitting is designed with a unique triple pre-compression seal and a precision locking indicator, guaranteeing leak-free connections and proper installation every time. Electron microscope analysis of cold-expanded molded parts confirms structural integrity and high reliability even under high temperatures and extreme conditions, delivering long-term stability for demanding piping systems.

Ultimate Withstand Pressure Standard

Test Description: After extrusion, the product is allowed to rest for over 24 hours at an ambient temperature of 22°C. Using 22°C clean water, a 150 mm length sample is pressurized. The product is first held at the rated pressure for 1 hour, then the pressure is increased at a rate of 2 bar every 5 seconds until the PFA tubing bursts. The burst pressure must exceed the following standard values.
Ultimate Withstand Pressure Standard

Maximum Operating Pressure and Temperature

Refer to the data chart for tube diameters. Actual operating pressure and temperature should remain below the rated values specified for the tubing and fittings.
Usage Recommendations:
Ensure piping systems are securely fixed to prevent movement or loosening during operation.
For long-term use in high-temperature or thermal cycling environments, perform regular inspections and maintenance to prevent leaks caused by material degradation or aging.

Minimum Bending Radius and Yield Value

After extrusion, the product is allowed to rest for over 24 hours at an ambient temperature of 22°C. During testing, one end is fixed while the other end is compressed at a rate of 10 cm per minute. The values are measured when the bending deformation of the tube outer diameter reaches 5%.

Ra: The average height of microscopic irregularities within the sampling length.
Rt: Determined over 5 sampling lengths; the evaluation length is the sum of the maximum profile peak height (Zp) and the maximum profile valley depth (Zv).

Metal Ion Extraction Limit Standards

  • Tubing uses the internal surface soaking method, while fittings use the full immersion method. Experiments are conducted in a Class 100 chemical cleanroom at 22°C, including pre-treatment, soaking, and completion of testing.
  • Electronic-grade ultrapure water conforming to ASTM D5127-2013 is used, with metal ion and anion content ≤ 1 ppt and TOC (Total Organic Carbon) < 5 ppb. A 15-minute pre-rinse is performed before soaking.
  • The extraction solution for analysis uses G5 grade 5% electronic nitric acid, with sampling performed after 24 hours and 7 days of immersion.
  • Testing equipment: in-house Agilent 8900 Triple Quadrupole ICP-MS is used for precise measurements.

Chemical Permeation of Liquids

Tubing uses the internal surface soaking method. Pre-treatment, internal soaking, and weighing experiments are conducted in a Class 100 chemical cleanroom. Electronic-grade ultrapure water conforming to ASTM D5127-2013 is used for a 15-minute pre-rinse before chemical immersion. CDA purging ensures the product is completely dry.
Test chemicals are G5 electronic-grade, and measurements are performed using METTLER TOLEDO equipment.
