What is a Peristaltic Pump?

A peristaltic pump is a positive displacement pump that moves fluids by compressing a flexible hose with rollers. Since only the hose contacts the medium, it can handle viscous, corrosive, or particle-laden fluids with low risk of contamination. Easy to maintain and reliable, it is widely used in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and water treatment applications.

Exclusive Single-Roller Design – Extended Hose Life

Unlike conventional peristaltic pumps that compress the hose multiple times per revolution, the SoloTech peristaltic pump features an exclusive single-roller design combined with 360° full-rotation compression. This ensures the hose experiences only one compression per revolution, effectively extending hose life while delivering greater displacement per revolution. By reducing the number of compressions, it minimizes heat build-up and friction, enabling low-wear, high-efficiency operation. In addition, the use of a metal roller and precision bearings ensures stable and consistent flow output.

A Low-Maintenance Solution for Challenging Fluids

The SoloTech peristaltic pump features an innovative design with no valves, seals, or packing, eliminating common failure points and significantly reducing maintenance complexity and costs. Since only the hose contacts the fluid, there is no need for check valves, making it especially suited for handling corrosive, abrasive, shear-sensitive, or gas-entrained fluids. This design minimizes downtime and ensures reliable performance even in the most demanding applications.

Multiple Hose Materials Available

SoloTech Peristaltic Pumps offer a wide selection of hose materials for both general fluids and specialized chemicals:
▪️ Natural Rubber – Excellent abrasion resistance, ideal for handling highly abrasive fluids.
▪️ EPDM – Outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis, ketones, and other chemical solvents.
▪️ Nitrile Rubber (Buna-N) – Specially designed for oily fluids, suitable for oils, solvents, and greases.
▪️ CSM Rubber – Superior oxidation and chemical resistance, capable of handling a wide range of aggressive fluids including strong acids.

Thoughtful Design for Appearance and Installation

The pump housing is made of lightweight cast aluminum, offering both durability and easy portability. A removable front cover with a large inspection window allows convenient monitoring of pump operation, and an optional leak detector can be added for enhanced safety. With quick-connect hose clamp assemblies, installation and removal require no special tools, ensuring a simple and fast process. Hose clamps are available in PVDF and stainless steel options to meet different application needs.

AC or DC Motor Options – Flexible to Your Needs

SoloTech peristaltic hose pumps are available with both AC and DC motor options. AC models can be paired with various gearboxes and are also offered in explosion-proof versions. DC models feature pressure control for precise dosing, support batch dispensing, and cover a wide speed range for flexible applications.
